Update

We have identified an issue with Jabber. OIT is implementing a patch; Users may experience an interruption in telecom connectivity.

Investigating

Beginning at 10:00am, OIT will initiate large-scale patching of multiple systems and services to protect them against a widespread critical vulnerability.

As a result of this patching, some services may have unexpected problems throughout the day. In addition, based on rapid decisions we may need to make to preserve security of Brown systems and data, some services may need to be protected by moving them to be reachable only from Brown networks including wired, wireless and VPN.
